History. In 2011 a group of information technologists and security-minded professionals met to discuss secure portability of very large stores of sensitive information. Members of that group--a founder of an open-standards information company and winner of two SBIR awards and a practicing physician with acute awareness of information security--together founded XpressRules LLC.       Activity. As a B2B company XpressRules LLC  has collaborated with major suppliers of access control technologies, integrating and demonstrating XpressRules' natural language authoring interface with their products. XpressRules has also completed a successful proof-of-concept with a Fortune 15 healthcare company, is engaged with a DoD supplier to DISA, has responded to solicitations for security solutions from Government (Homeland Security, Defense), and has presented at security events. A current collaboration for attribute-based access control (ABAC) for a large pharmaceutical company will streamline the process of clinical trials, protecting and enhancing the value of the company's intellectual assets.   Team. The XpressRules team includes its founders (as Chief Technical Officer and Chief Medical Officer), security architect, marketing strategist, program manager, lead developer, Midwest sales associate, plus open standards-proficient developers.
